This blog highlights the wealth of activities the children at Riversides School experience during their weekly Outdoor Education lessons. The range of opportunities coupled with the diverse settings we visit enable the children to explore and engage in learning in a wide variety of ways. This also allows for cross curricular links to ICT, English, Science and Maths.

walk at Hartlebury Common with Year 9
The pupils enjoyed the adventure of walking through the forest areas to reach the destinations of each geocaching spots. The pupils also showed an interest in climbing trees to the top and walking along the branches. They collected different sized acorns to bring back to School. The pupils did races to the top of a bank and back down to see who could get there the fastest.
