Primary 1 and 2 explored the various equipment's at Arrow Valley

The pupils enjoyed exploring the park at Arrow Valley where they showed interest in climbing to the top of the slide and sliding all the way down displaying their bodies in a variety of movements such as on their bottoms or on their front and back. A couple of the pupils along with staff members enjoyed having a competition to see who could go the highest on the swing. When we began to slow the speed and height of the swing down, one of the pupils said to an member of staff "Miss, we are swinging at the same as each other". The pupils then showed an interest taking it in turns to have a go at seeing how fast and slow they could turn on the spinning tops with one pupil saying "if I lean back so my body is far away, I go slow". A staff member continued to explain that when the pupil put their body close to the spinning top that is when it started to move faster. The pupils also worked together as a group to support one another with one pulling the side of the merry go around when their peer stood in the middle shouting directions of "spin me all the way around like in a full circle".
